M's Game

We arrived early to grab our seats and some snacks. Cracker Jacks, perhaps. My dad scored some sweet seats on the 3rd base line, prime spot to work the 135mm....for lefties at least.

all that shimmers in Thailand

After many failed attempts from multiple tuk-tuk drivers to reach the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho we had enough and took a cab. The tuk-tuk drivers want to take their customers to different shops, if you buy something they get part of the cut. We weren't going to play their games!

We ended the night and our trip in Thailand with the finest restaurant the country offers: Sirocco. The restaurant is located on top of Lebua at State Tower. The view was perfect!

After walking across the city the whole day I felt very under-dressed...I bought a button up shirt which helped a little :D

TRIBES

Longneck tribes from Burma. The women weave beautiful and extremely colorful scarves, often spending 3+ days making a single one.

This is Manna. Probably my favorite person I met while traveling in Thailand. She is a young girl and her family came to Thailand from Burma a few years ago. She is so nice and I wanted to do anything and everything I could to help her out.
