U-Dub

The U. University of Washington. I originally planned on attending UW but due to a few problems with sending in test scores things didn't go as planned. Now I'm looking at transfering and am really excited! There is so much about Washington that I love and after living away for a year, I miss it that much more.


The first thing you'll notice while visiting the University of Washington campus is the incredible architecture! Gothic trends can be found in nearly all buildings, and the trees are great! UW is ranked as the 16th best school in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities. In 2006 UW's research budget passed the $1 billion mark. UW's medicine program recieved $573.2 million in grants in 2006, the second highest among all universities in the U.S.


And if stats are too much you can head down to the U District to relax and grab a bite to eat!

As the Blue Scholars say: "Campus Parkway, up to 41st, 42nd, 43rd, 45th....Get your education on the AVE!"

Okay I guess not ALL of the architecture is great. Below is some of the north campus housing...it's not appealing to look at. It's actually depressing.
