A night on the town with my 24-70mm 2.8L and her date, the 200mm 1.8L

It's been a long time coming...and i've finally started my blog! I love my website and am currently in the progress of a complete overhaul, but for now my new blog will fill it's place for all my recent photography.

Today I picked up the 200mm 1.8 L. I want to tell you how amazing it is...but it's just not quite possible. No i didn't buy it! just borrowing for the weekend. She's as beautiful as the pictures she takes. If you ever have the chance to use this legendary lens I would not pass it up, for ANYTHING. Canon has not manufactured this lens for many years but just weeks ago released its replacement, the 200mm 2.0L IS. Although the lens is somewhat tiring to carry for long periods, it is definitely worth any fatigue!

I'll keep posting over the weekend. For now, here are some shots from around University Place, WA, my home town.

The wider photos were taken with my 24-70mm 2.8L.

I am truly impressed. You did a great job! When can you shoot me? What a crafty eye you have.
